DESCRIPTION:The Teatro Grande will reopen on 23 rd July with an exceptional artist\, Ludovico Einaudi\, performing in\nPompeii for the first time. ‘Ludovico Einaudi elements’ is the title of the concert. Together with the Turin\ncomposer on piano\, there will be Federico Mecozzi on violin\, Redi Hasa playing cello\, Alberto Fabris on bass\nguitar and live electronics\, Riccardo Laganà on percussion and Francesco Arcuri on guitar.. \n  \nThe album ‘Elements’ was released on 16 th October 2015.It includes 12 pieces featuring various instruments\, the piano\, strings\, percussion\, guitar and electronics. Like Einaudi’s previous albums\, ‘Elements’ is a suite\, which means that each piece is firmly connected to the others. It has a rich and multi-layered sound\, and the different elements are combined in a fresh and natural way\, merging acoustic\, electrical and electronic sounds. The album was recorded over three months\, between March and June\, in the studio of Einaudi’s country house on the Langhe hills; “A unique experience\, accompanied by the pulsating rhythm of spring in its explosion.’ Discussing his latest work\, the composer said\, “If it weren’t music\, it would be a map of thoughts\, sometimes clear\, sometimes one on top of the other\, dots\, lines\, shapes\, fragments of an internal discourse that never stops. \n‘ Tickets can be purchased online at www.ticketone.it or through authorised dealers. \nIn July\, for Pompeii’s summer season\, the Amphitheatre will also host the concerts of Elton John on 12 th July and David Gilmour on 7 th and 8 th July.

DESCRIPTION:David Gilmour ritornerà\, questa estate\, all’Anfiteatro Romano di Pompei con due concerti il 7 e l’8 luglio 2016\, divenendo il primo artista a tenere un concerto rock con pubblico in questo luogo. Nel 1971 i Pink Floyd furono i primi a suonare in questo luogo storico\, registrando “Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii”\, con riprese in quattro giorni nell’ottobre del 1971\, ma senza pubblico ad assistere. Fino ad oggi\, nessun altro concerto rock si è tenuto qui. I concerti di David Gilmour a Pompei fanno parte del suo tour mondiale “Rattle That Lock”. Sarà un concerto imperdibile”. \nIl Professor Massimo Osanna\, sovraintendente di Pompei\, ha detto: “Il ritorno di Gilmoura Pompei è un evento straordinario che la Soprintendenza e il Ministero hanno fortemente voluto. Pompei\, mai come ora nel pieno della sua rinascita\, è pronta ad accogliere questo grande artista che con la sua band ha segnato la storia della musica di questo secolo e allo stesso tempo ha lasciato il suo segno profondo nel sito di Pompei con il memorabile concerto a porte chiuse del 1971. \nAncora una volta l’anfiteatro farà da scena privilegiata a questo concerto e siamo sicuri che come allora si riproporrà la stessa magica atmosfera e la stessa grande emozione che solo la combinazione unica di un luogo sospeso nel tempo come Pompei e di una grande musica possono riuscire a creare. E’ davvero un’occasione straordinaria che ricalca dal passato e traccia nel presente un capitolo di “storia\, musicale\, nella storia”. \nInformiamo gli spettatori che i biglietti saranno limitati a massimo due per persona\, soltanto per un concerto (non entrambi) ed il prezzo è di € 300\,00 ciascuno più il 15% di prevendita. Il giorno del concerto\, lo spettatore dovrà presentare la ricevuta stampata alla biglietteria designata situata in prossimità del sito\, insieme a un documento di riconoscimento valido e alla carta di credito utilizzata per l’acquisto del biglietto/dei biglietti. Nel caso in cui lo spettatore abbia acquistato due biglietti\, anche la seconda persona dovrà essere presente in biglietteria.
