The interventions form part of a single cognitive and restoration project, the aim of which is to reconstitute the necessary connection between the various archaeological, architectural and environmental study phases of intervention carried out in the area, and effective museum communication to the public.

Following on from the investigations carried out by Prof. Enzo Lippolis, the exploration of the northern sector of the Forum seeks to define the main phases of construction and transformation phases of the Temple of Jupiter, and of any structures connected to it, but also, and above all, to read the constructional history of the monument in relation to the evolution and architectural development of the public space, from the earliest phases up to the end of the settlement.
