Closure of the Antiquarium of Pompeii from 4 November to 7 December

Dear visitors,

To allow for major renovation and refurbishment of the exhibition spaces, the Antiquarium of Pompeii will be temporarily closed in two phases:

• From 4 to 22 November (Partial closure): Three exhibition rooms (“Living in Luxury”, “A fundamentis reficere” and “The Last Day”) will be temporarily closed to the public. The rest of the exhibition will remain open as usual.
• From 23 November to 7 December (Full closure): The entire Antiquarium will be closed to the public whilst the works are completed. Only the upper floor bookshop will remain open.

Accessibility: Throughout the entire period of the works, the lift will remain in operation and available for visitors with reduced mobility.

We apologise for the temporary inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation in supporting these works, which will result in even more beautiful and welcoming exhibition spaces.
